Café de Zwart since 1921.Café de Zwart in Amsterdam has been located in the city center, at Spuistraat 334, right next to Spui. The café takes its name from the surname of the founder in 1921, Onno de Zwart. The iconic Café de Zwart, in Amsterdam, decorated in Art Deco style with a floor of Portuguese tiles, can be found within walking distance of various well-known Amsterdam attractions such as the Begijnhof, the Flowermarket, de Kalverstraat, Royal Palace Amsterdam, Dam Square, ‘de 9 straatjes’, ‘Amsterdam Lieverdje’ and various museums.
In the extensive history of Café de Zwart in Amsterdam, she has gathered a regular circle of prominent writers, publishers, journalists, lawyers, artists, politicians of local, national and international level who clearly feel at ease among our other guests.
